Fortnite - The Beginning of the New Era

Updated: Feb 22, 2019

Hey Folks! Justin here to talk about some more games, Fortnite in particular. Gonna tell you some great news so far about Fortnite, and what's to come! Fortnite is an online video game developed by Epic Games and released in 2017. It is available in three distinct game mode versions that otherwise share the same general gameplay and game engine. 1. Fortnite - Save the World: A cooperative shooter-survival game for up to four players to fight off zombie-like creatures and defend objects with fortifications they can build and just make anything, you can even destroy anything to make a maze of death for the zombies or friends! depending whatever comes first! 2. Fortnite - Battle Royale: Now this is the money maker right here! who doesn't want to be put into an open arena with a 100 people and fight and build to the death! (not me i just want to build and kill zombies fam) but this here is

free-to-play and only 1 person can stand as winner! 3. Fortnite - Creative: Where players are given complete freedom to create worlds and battle arenas. Creative was released on December 6, 2018. Save the World is available only for Windows, macOS, Playstation 4, and Xbox one, while Battle Royale has been released for those platforms in addition for Nintendo Switch, iOS and Android device. So your telling me with my new Galaxy 10 phone here i can be on the go and keep playing!? Sweet! (I already do this cause building fam)

Let's dive in on how to be good at Fortnite - Battle Royal with some tips! 1. Know you gear and what your good with listening is key for golden chest and breaking down a wall is easy to get one, as they make a magical tingling noise when you’re close by and should contain at least one useful, high level. usually there hiding in attics or basements, so be prepared to smash everything! here's a list of rare gear colors. - Common - Grey - Uncommon - Green - Rare - Blue - Epic - Purple - Legendary - Gold

2. Stay in cover Avoid running across open areas, the longer you stay in the open the more likely you are to be spotted by another player. If you do have to make a cross-country run, make sure you hug cover or use your jumps to make you a trickier target for others. Often you can camp in a pre-planted bush with your head popping out and enemies will just walk on by. It’s not the most respectable way to get a kill, but when you’re low on health and have very little ammo hiding may be your best bet. 3. Use your consumables consumables to recover your health and shield. These are handy to have in reserve, but there's no point carrying them around for later if you can get the benefit from them immediately. For example, just running around aimlessly and waiting for a kill to happen then you die with no shield and had a potion in your pocket the whole time. That's just embarrassing. Better the item is, the longer it will take to consume, so make sure you're in cover and out of sight before using it. - Shield Potion: +50 Shield, to a maximum of 100. Use time is 4 seconds. Maximum carry stack is 3 - Medkit: Restores full Health: Use time is 10 seconds. Maximum carry stack is 3 - Bandages: +15 Health, to a maximum of 75. Use time is 4 seconds. Maximum carry stack is 15 - Slurp Juice: +1 Health or Shield per second for 75s. If you reach max health while consuming a Slurp Juice, it will overlap to give you extra shield too. Use time is 2 seconds. Maximum carry stack is 2 - Chug Jug: Restores full Health and Shield. Use time is 15 seconds. Maximum carry stack 1

4. Building is da best How important it is to harvesting resources? Glad you asked! Building is the best part of Fortnite and what better way to build then to BUILD OFF (basically two people fighting are building a tower of doom while trying to kill one another).

You can always get into a better position than your adversary when building. Even if you think you can get a lot of shots off without building, don’t risk it. Build some decent cover and peek from behind that, take a few shots then build again. A fight taking 10 seconds longer but retaining full health is better than it being over quicker.

5.Prepare for end game If you make it to the endgame, and are up against just a handful of players in a small area, blow up as much of the potential cover as you can. These final stand-offs tend to be a waiting game, where hidden players bait each other into exposing themselves, so don’t give them the option. If you see an enemy before they see you be sure to knock back your Slurp Juice, as this will regenerate both your armor and health for a short period of time, giving you a strong advantage over your opponent. Destroy the base of a building and the rest will collapse, causing an avalanche of materials and hopefully some broken legs. Your prey will then be out in the open, ready for you to pick off, Boom dead!

Becoming Thanos is a thing?! So Epic games got there hands on the deadly Titan and became a thing in Fortnite but that's not all, you BECAME Thanos! like totally the one and only! all you had to do is go grab the gauntlet and boom you come from space and start slapping people. But Once the comet appears, this is your chance to become Thanos so dive as fast as you can to beat the other players down. It won’t always work, but this is your best chance.

Epic Skin time! When it comes to being creative, Fortnite takes the Victory Royale always. With its ever-changing gameplay and a giant assortment of cosmetics, you could argue that what makes Fortnite so fun is every player’s unique sense of style. The coolest Battle Royale outfits are some of the rarest and exclusive items, usually requiring you to get some V-Bucks or invest in a Battle Pass to get them. With Over 300 skins to pick from i doubt Epic games will slow down. My rating for Fortnite is 7.9/10
