Apex Legends does a great job of being different, even for a long time FPS player like myself it took me a while to get the hang of it. After seven or so matches of Apex Legends, I deleted it. I thought "This game sucks, Hit registration is bad, damage is inconsistent, and time to kill is way too high." My gripes with this game still remain true, but after downloading it again to play with friends, my opinion did a 180 degree turn. You get used to the high kill time, and start to get a feel for what guns are worth using. It is refreshing to be able to come back after dying, every other BR game results in you immediately leaving the game in a fit of frustration, but knowing that maybe your team will be able to bring you back keeps you entertained while watching your teammates play on without you. There is no shortage of players, whether alone or in a full squad, finding a game takes no time at all. All in all, the game is free, so why not give it a try? Play the game, don't judge it after a few matches like me. Grind through those first few matches without getting a single kill, develop the feel for the game and you will not regret it.
